Back-End Engineer

Build and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js, Express, and PostgreSQL, designing secure APIs and optimizing database performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain efficient, secure, and reliable APIs
- Write clean, tested, and well-documented code
- Collaborate with Frontend Engineers, Product Managers, and Product Designers to deliver high-quality technical solutions
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and engineering standards
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
- Contribute to database design, optimization, and maintenance.
REQUIREMENTS
- Indonesian citizen with 3-5 years of professional experience as a Backend Engineer or Backend Developer
- Proficient in Node.js and Express.js
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development
- Strong experience with PostgreSQL, database design, data modeling, and query optimization
- Experience with Amazon S3 or S3-compatible object storage
- Strong fundamentals in Data Structures, Algorithms, and Core Computer Science concepts
- Proficient with Git and collaborative development workflows
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Ability to perform performance tuning and query optimization.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Familiarity with Docker and containerization technologies
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
- Basic understanding of microservices architecture.
