Project description

We're seeking an experienced Java Developer with DevOps/Infrastructure knowledge to join Data Centre Migration Project for one of our Banking Customer.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Java-based applications and microservices.
  • Design and deploy monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
  • Ensure security best practices are followed throughout all stages of development and deployment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, QA analysts, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in Java development and DevOps.

SKILLS

Must have

  • 7+ years of overall experience
  • Java Development - Strong backend Java skills in Microservices, Spring Boot, Collections, Low Latency, Multithreading, and Concurrency
  • Infrastructure & DevOps
  • Good Understanding of: - Deployment processes and how to deploy code to servers - Server connectivity and management - Basic system resource management (RAM, CPU allocation) - Containerization (Kubernetes, Podman) - Pipeline creation and CI/CD processes - Experience in AWS/Azure/Google Cloud

Nice to have

• Banking domain experience • Financial markets background and worked on trading systems
