Back Server
Summary
Assists servers in a country club dining setting by delivering food, clearing tables, and maintaining cleanliness during evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
Bethesda Country Club is hiring Back Servers to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. The Back Servers will assist Servers in executing steps of service set forth by the Club. This includes anticipating member & guest needs and providing a memorable dining experience. Back Server Essential Functions:
- Provide immediate attention to all members/guests upon seating, which includes bread and water service
- Deliver food & beverage to the table
- Remove soiled dishes from the table
- Clean and re-set tables and chairs
- Polish silverware and glassware
- Maintain a clean working environment and server station
- Refill ice for the bar
- Set up and take down bread station and beverage station
- Have a working knowledge of the menu
- Ability to follow instructions as given
Back Server Requirements:
- Ability to lift items frequently throughout the day
- Work in a team environment
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Attention to detail and pride in keeping the workplace clean and tidy
- Work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand and walk for 4 hours
- Ability to work inside or outside in cold or heat
