In this role, you will play a key part in delivering critical backbone infrastructure projects, including data center migrations, fiber deployments, and capacity upgrades. Working within a fast-paced, multivendor ecosystem, you will manage supplier relationships and help ensure the timely and successful delivery of services.

Core Responsibilities

Lead and execute data center and customer circuit migrations.
Coordinate with third-party providers to install new fiber and deliver services (e.g., tails, cross-connects).
Work closely with field technicians to verify fiber patching and physical connectivity.
Validate fiber connections and troubleshoot issues related to DWDM backbone link onboarding.
Manage escalations and drive resolution for high-impact infrastructure issues.
Ensure timely and quality delivery of backbone orders by staying on top of supplier commitments.
Perform network configuration and troubleshooting using CLI across various network operating systems (Cisco IOS, Junos, Arista EOS).

Requirements

Solid experience in network infrastructure projects, especially data center migrations and fiber installations.
Hands-on experience with CLI in a multivendor environment (Cisco IOS, Junos, Arista EOS).
Familiarity with DWDM systems for verification and troubleshooting of fiber connectivity.
Proven ability to manage suppliers and coordinate service delivery (e.g., fiber, tails, cross-connects).
Strong understanding of network protocols and configurations.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Effective communication and coordination skills across internal teams and external partners.

Nice-to-haves

Certifications such as CCNA or equivalent (not mandatory but appreciated).
Experience with other network technologies and equipment.
Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
