Backend Developer - AWS/Typescript/Serverless Architecture/AWS Lambda

As a Backend Developer, you will design, build and maintain secure, scalable backend services and APIs. You’ll work in a multidisciplinary team to deliver cloud-native, serverless solutions used by millions, primarily for public-sector clients. You’ll translate user needs into robust technical solutions and contribute to modern software engineering practices. • Design, develop and maintain backend services using TypeScript
• Implement serverless and cloud-native solutions
• Develop applications on AWS including AWS Lambda
• Build secure, scalable APIs and backend services
• Translate requirements into reliable, maintainable technical solutions
• Write clean, well-tested code following modern practices
• Collaborate with frontend/mobile teams, designers, product managers, QA and other engineers
• Participate in code reviews and architectural decisions
• Develop automated tests and contribute to CI/CD
• Investigate and resolve defects, performance issues and incidents

• Strong experience building backend services and APIs
• Proficiency in TypeScript
• Experience with serverless architecture
• Experience with AWS and AWS Lambda
• Understanding of event-driven and cloud-native architectures

• Experience with automated testing (unit/integration)
