Backend Developer (C)
Summary
Backend developer maintaining and extending C-based trading systems, integrating with databases and CI/CD pipelines while providing technical support.
You enjoy working with internal and external interfaces and are good at working in IT systems/applications? Our goal is to develop, maintain, and give support to IT applications in the connectivity applications for Post Trading area. To achieve that, a high-level knowledge of the application landscape, dependencies and integration is very important.
What You Will Do- Act as a support technician within a Development Support team
- Develop and maintain application code across the full development lifecycle and assure the right service
- Understand the SIX processes and apply them properly
- Acquire the required knowledge about the applications to which we provide support
- Collaborate with different IT teams to ensure optimal support to the requestors
- Contribute with ideas or initiatives to enhance the team service
- Linux systems administration knowledge
- 3 years of hands‑on experience in C programming and shell scripting
- Additional programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or similar are highly valued.
- DB technology understanding (MSSQL, Postgre, xqbhyrx etc.)
- Microservices and containerization knowledge
- Background in IT corporate tools (Jira/Confluence, GIT, VS Code, etc.)
- Experience and knowledge of CI/CD (GitLab, Artifactory, Ansible, Grafana, Elastic, etc)
- High team‑working spirit
- Languages: Spanish (native/proficiency) and fluent in English (verbal and written)
