About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer to design, develop, and optimize scalable backend systems that power modern web applications and AI-enabled solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for building secure, high-performance backend services, designing scalable microservices, and developing cloud-native applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, innovative, and scalable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services for web and mobile applications.
Design and implement microservices and distributed system architectures.
Develop efficient database solutions using MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
Optimize backend performance, scalability, and system reliability.
Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, and product teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
Participate in technical design discussions, architecture planning, and code reviews.
Implement CI/CD pipelines and support cloud-native deployments.
Ensure application security, monitoring, logging, and observability best practices.
Continuously improve backend systems through performance tuning and adoption of modern development practices.
Qualifications
Required
Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot for backend development and microservices.
Strong proficiency in REST API design, integration, and backend architecture.
Solid SQL skills with experience in MySQL, PostgreSQL, and relational data modeling.
Experience working with MongoDB or similar NoSQL databases.
Strong understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and system design (HLD/LLD).
Proficiency with GitHub and version control best practices.
Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and backend performance optimization.
Experience with CI/CD, observability, and cloud-native deployments.
Preferred
Experience with chatbot engines, NLP workflows, or AI-driven communication systems.
Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), or agentic frameworks such as LangChain or AutoGen.
Strong expertise in Node.js and advanced NoSQL schema design.
Experience integrating AI-powered backend solutions and cloud-native AI services.
Background in performance profiling and advanced backend optimization techniques.
