What will you do?
- Design and implement backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop and optimize database schemas and queries using Cassandra and Oracle SQL.
- Integrate and work with Apache Kafka for event-driven architecture and messaging.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to design and implement end-to-end solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and troubleshooting to ensure software quality and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in backend development.
- Work closely with DevOps and infrastructure teams to deploy and monitor applications in production environments.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Backend Developer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Java programming language and Spring Boot framework.
- Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases like Cassandra and relational databases like Oracle SQL.
- Familiarity with Apache Kafka for building real-time data pipelines.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is a plus.
