About the role

We're looking for a Backend Developer to support our data and reporting infrastructure. This role sits within our Data team - you'll write code that helps structure, expose, and automate data for internal reporting needs, working alongside our software engineering teams. It's a great fit for someone earlier in their career who wants to build a foundation across both backend development and data.


What you'll be doing

  • Building and maintaining internal tools and services that support data extraction and reporting
  • Writing Java code within our microservices architecture, following DDD principles
  • Supporting basic ETL automation and data pipeline maintenance under the guidance of senior team members
  • Working with data analysts to translate reporting needs into technical solutions
  • Assisting with data quality checks and troubleshooting reporting issues

What you'll need

  • 1-3 years of backend development experience
  • Solid Java programming skills
  • Basic working knowledge of PostgreSQL
  • Willingness to learn data engineering and reporting workflows
  • Good problem-solving skills and eagerness to grow
  • Proficiency in English, with strong communication skills
