  • Developing the backend and mathematical models for Game in the Box solutions, including implementation of game logic, computational systems, and integration with other system components;
  • Maintaining and developing game designs used in projects;
  • Implementing new game-related functionalities;
  • Preparing and executing unit and integration tests;
  • Designing game functionalities in accordance with licensing regulations;
  • Designing and developing game mechanics and game projects supporting ongoing initiatives;
  • Creating project and technical documentation;
  • Collaborating with project teams and developers on the integration and implementation of game projects;
  • Conceptualizing and implementing new game projects within defined requirements and constraints;
  • Verifying the correctness of game designs, ensuring their alignment and optimization;
  • Analyzing game-related data to identify new mechanics and industry trends;
  • Evaluating game performance after deployment and providing insights into player behavior;
  • Conducting analyses to detect irregularities and proposing corrective solutions.
  • 2–3 years of commercial backend development experience (e.g. Java/Kotlin/TypeScript/Node.js or C#)
  • Strong mathematical skills, including a solid understanding of probability, statistics, and algorithms
  • Mathematical intuition and the ability to build, run, and interpret simulation results
  • Hands-on experience with unit and integration testing
  • Strong collaboration skills and experience working in agile, cross-functional teams
  • Good command of English (written and spoken)
  • Genuine passion for games and commitment to delivering high-quality software

Nice to have:

  • Experience with backend development for online casino / iGaming products
  • Familiarity with video slot mechanics and slot math models (RTP, volatility, hit frequency, pay tables)
  • Experience designing game mechanics or mathematical models for games
  • Ability to test and validate mathematical outcomes using MS Excel, programming, and proprietary tools to guarantee accuracy and quality
  • Understanding of Docker and containerization
  • Understanding of licensing and regulatory requirements in regulated gaming markets
