Backend developer

We're looking for an experienced backend developer to join our team in Sandnes. You'll build new features and plugins, extend APIs, and develop integrations between the Shopware e-commerce platform and systems like POS, ERP, and payment providers.

You should be experienced in development in general, and with PHP/Symfony experience as a strong plus. We DO work with AI-assisted engineering like Claude Code, Cursor and more, and it is a requirement to feel confident in working with these tools.

Location: Sandnes, Norway

Infrastructure: Self-hosted on Hetzner & our own private cloud. You'll work closely with the infra team and have real ownership over the environments your code runs on

CI/CD: GitHub Actions with automated build, test & deploy pipelines

Dev Tools: PHPStorm, Cursor, Claude Code. We invest in tools that make you faster

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of backend development experience, preferably PHP
• Experience working with integrations (REST APIs, message queues, webhooks)
• Experience with modern Git workflows
• Retail or e-commerce domain experience is a big plus
• On-site presence in Sandnes, Norway is required
