Backend Developer

We are looking for a highly skilled Backend Developer to strengthen Hepytech's engineering team. You will be responsible for building robust server-side architectures, managing complex databases, and ensuring seamless API integrations for various large-scale projects. Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-performance, efficient server-side business logic.
• Manage and optimize database schemas (PostgreSQL/MySQL) while ensuring data integrity and security.
• Build and maintain stable RESTful APIs for consumption by frontend and mobile applications.
• Identify system bottlenecks and perform query optimization and caching (Redis) to improve response times.
• Implement data security standards and protection against common backend vulnerabilities.
• Contribute to system architecture planning ready to handle high traffic and data growth.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience in Backend Development (talent such as fresh graduates with a strong project portfolio are welcome).
• Core Skills: Proficiency in Golang or the Laravel framework.
• Database: Deep understanding of SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL concepts.
• Version Control: Solid experience with Git (branching, merging, pull requests).
• Familiarity: Hands‑on experience with Docker, Redis, and Message Brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ) is a significant plus.
• Testing: Understanding of unit testing concepts to ensure high‑quality code.
• Soft Skills: Ability to work independently or within a team with excellent communication skills.
