Backend Developer (Hybrid)
Summary
Builds and optimizes Java/Spring Boot microservices and APIs for a healthcare customer engagement platform, using SQL/NoSQL databases and cloud tools.
The responsibilities of a Backend Developer are:
Responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing high-performance backend applications and microservices that power the customer engagement platform
Ensures reliable API integrations, secure and scalable backend services, and efficient data processing to support enterprise-grade product experiences
Contributes to continuous improvement, system performance, and the integration of emerging technologies such as AI/NLP to enhance automation and customer interactions
Required:
Candidate must possess at least bachelor’s or college degree (Bachelor of Science, Computer Science/Information Technology or any related field)
Strong hand-on experience in Java and Spring Boot for backend development and microservices
Proficiency in REST API design, integration, and backend architecture
Solid SQL skills with experience in MySQL, PostgreSQL, and relational data modeling
Experience working with MongoDB or similar NoSQL databases
Strong understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and system design (HLD/LLD)
Proficiency with GitHub and version control best practices
Exposure to Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud environments
Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, and performance optimization
Experience with CI/CD, observability, and cloud-native deployments
Experience with Phyton and React JS
Desired:
Experience with chatbot engines, NLP workflows, or AI-driven communication systems
Familiarity with LLMs, RAG pipelines, or agentic frameworks (e.g., LangChain, AutoGen)
Strong expertise in Node.js and advanced NoSQL schema design
Experience with AI-powered backend integrations or cloud-native AI services
Background in performance profiling and advanced backend optimization techniques
