Summary
Remote B2B contractor role at Profitroom building and maintaining integrations (channel managers, PMS, payment providers) that connect its hotel-focused SaaS platform to external systems. Work is ~60% new integrations and ~40% maintenance, delivered with PHP, MySQL, Laravel/Symfony, Docker and AI-assisted coding tools.

Profitroom delivers leading SaaS technology and marketing services that give hoteliers the tools to increase revenue performance, bookings and efficiency, and provide their guests the best services and experiences. We work with 3,500+ hotels in 55 countries.
Software is easy to write now — AI writes plenty of it for you. What's still hard is making dozens of external systems that were never designed to talk to each other actually work together, reliably, at scale, across thousands of hotels. That's the work.
We're looking for an independent contractor to deliver integration services within our Connectivity area — the integrations connecting Profitroom to the outside world: channel managers, PMS systems, payment providers, and more. You ship new integrations, and you're the one who tracks down what broke when a partner's API changed without warning.
Scope of services
- Delivery of new integrations with external systems and extension of existing ones with agreed functionalities.
- Diagnosis and resolution of technical issues within the integrations covered by the contract.
- Design and development of the solutions you deliver, including responsibility for code quality and architecture in your scope.
- Applying and recommending development practices within the delivered services.
- Indicative distribution of scope: approx. 60% new functionalities, approx. 40% maintenance and technical support. This is an estimate of the service scope agreed per settlement period, not a working-time requirement.
Requirements
What we need on the contractor side
- Solid commercial experience in software development with PHP, MySQL and Git.
- Practical use of AI-assisted coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Antigravity or similar) in daily delivery.
- Familiarity with Docker.
- Experience integrating with SOAP and REST APIs.
- Confidence writing unit tests.
- Working knowledge of Laravel or Symfony.
- English B2, Polish C1.
- An independent, problem-solving approach and readiness to share knowledge with other contractors in the area.

What are the stages of the recruitment process?
- Interview with a Recruiter (30–40 min).
- Culture & technical interview with the Team Leader and a Senior Developer (90 min).
- Final interview with the Team Leader and Engineering Manager (30 min) - after successfully passing the technical stage.
