Iris's Fortune 100 direct client is looking for Backend Developer - Java & Python.
Position: Backend Developer - Java & Python
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
- Design, build, and enhance RESTful APIs to support business and customer-facing applications.
- Write efficient, reusable, and well-documented Java code following industry best practices.
- Develop and maintain Python scripts and services for automation, data processing, and integrations.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Integrate applications with databases, third-party services, and enterprise systems.
- Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability across distributed environments.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and debugging to ensure code quality and maintainability.
- Implement security, authentication, and authorization mechanisms in backend services.
- Support cloud-native deployments and contribute to CI/CD pipeline implementation and automation.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
- Contribute to technical design discussions, system architecture improvements, and continuous innovation initiatives.
