Backend Developer (Java, Springboot, Microservices)

Summary

Backend Developer responsible for designing and building microservices and APIs using Java and Spring Boot, implementing messaging and event-driven components, supporting testing cycles, and collaborating with engineering teams.

Development and Delivery

  • Design and build back-end microservices and APIs for web, mobile and downstream systems.

  • Implement messaging, data-streaming and event-driven components supporting the platform.

  • Build and maintain messaging templates used by the application.

Quality and Support

  • Support functional, integration and user acceptance testing cycles.

  • Diagnose and fix defects raised against the services owned by the team.

Collaboration and Reporting

  • Provide progress updates to the project team and attend project meetings and ceremonies.

  • Collaborate with the existing engineering team on the ongoing initiative being augmented.


    Core Requirements

    • Designing APIs for web, mobile or other systems and applications using Java Spring Boot.

    • HTML for messaging templates.

    • Messaging Frameworks, Data Streaming Frameworks, Data Event Frameworks, Conductor, BPM, Rules/Constraint Definitions, oAuth Security, and Document/Relational Database tools.

    Nice to Have

    • Angular and React development experience.
