Backend Developer

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
• Develop high-performance, reliable, and secure distributed systems.
• Work closely with AI/ML, product, and frontend teams to deliver impactful features.
• Integrate cloud services, databases, and third-party APIs.
• Optimise application performance, scalability, and system reliability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering best practices.

Requirements:

• 1-4 years of backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python (preferred) Candidates with strong experience in Java or Golang are also encouraged to apply.
• Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms, OOP, and backend design principles.
• Experience working with SQL or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc. ).
• Hands-on experience with AWS services.
• Good understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and modern software development practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to work in a fast-paced startup environment.

Nice to Have:

• Experience building scalable backend systems for high-traffic applications.
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, or containerised deployments.
• Interest or experience in AI/LLM-based products.
