Backend Developer

Summary

Build and maintain scalable .NET Core microservices and APIs, integrate systems with MS SQL/Oracle, and collaborate in Agile teams using Docker and CI/CD.

Your Role In Our Team

API and Microservices Development

  • Build clean, reusable, and scalable APIs and microservices using .NET Core and C#.
  • Develop services that support integration with front‑end clients, third‑party APIs, and internal components.
  • Ensure maintainability, performance, and security of backend systems.

Agile Development & Collaboration

  • Collaborate within Scrum teams, actively participating in sprint planning, reviews, and daily stand‑ups.
  • Work closely with backend/frontend developers, UI/UX designers, and DevOps engineers to build and improve full‑stack solutions.
  • Support product ideation and contribute to technical feasibility discussions.

Platform Design and Architecture

  • Contribute to the system and platform architecture, with focus on scalability, performance, and clean architecture principles.
  • Design flexible and modular solutions for evolving business needs.
  • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and optimization initiatives.

Data Layer and System Integration

  • Design and manage relational databases (MS SQL, Oracle) with efficient data access layers using Entity Framework Core.
  • Handle complex data structures, query optimization, and schema design.
  • Implement robust inter‑process communication (IPC) and backend‑to‑backend integrations.

DevOps and Containerization

  • Containerize backend services using Docker and support deployment in distributed environments.
  • Use Git for version control and participate in CI/CD pipeline development.

Performance and Optimization

  • Conduct feasibility analysis and performance tuning of backend services.
  • Debug and troubleshoot incidents across distributed systems and provide long‑term solutions.

Technology Research & Innovation

  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
  • Recommend and integrate new tools, frameworks, or methods to improve development workflows.

Your Profile

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 4+ years of experience in back‑end development with .NET technologies.

Technical Proficiency

  • Strong experience in .NET, .NET Core, and C#.
  • Solid grasp of object‑oriented programming and design patterns (e.g., Clean Architecture).
  • Experience with Entity Framework Core, LINQ, and Code First approaches.
  • Good understanding of RESTful APIs, backend design patterns, and asynchronous programming.

Database Expertise

  • Proficient in relational databases such as MS SQL or Oracle.
  • Strong SQL skills and understanding of indexing, optimization, and schema design.

System Design and Architecture

  • Familiarity with system design, distributed systems, and scalability principles.
  • Understanding of inter‑process communication (IPC) and multi‑threaded application development.

Tooling and Environment

  • Experience with Docker, Git, and CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps).
  • Basic familiarity with network technologies, Linux systems, and general IT infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of DevOps or deployment pipelines is a plus.

Testing and Security

  • Experience with unit testing and test‑driven development (TDD) using frameworks like NUnit or xUnit.
  • Understanding of security best practices and compliance (e.g., data protection, authentication).
