About the role. In this position, you will contribute to the modernization of Albert Heijn's technology framework. You will be part of the Promotions team within the Retail Business Platform execution cluster, focusing on developing appealing sales promotions and campaigns for our customers. Your role will also involve maintaining continuous uptime for essential systems.

What you’ll do
- Develop and implement backend solutions using Kotlin to enhance promotional offerings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability and performance of mission-critical applications.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in backend development, specifically with Kotlin.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS or Azure.
- Proficient in database management and SQL.
- Experience with CI/CD practices and tools.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.
