Backend Developer (Laravel + Nodejs) - Onsite - Lahore

Job Description

We are looking for a Backend Developer with 3–4 years of experience in developing scalable and secure backend applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Laravel, Node.js, TypeScript, AWS Lambda, and Serverless architecture. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-native backend services and APIs that support modern web and mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Laravel (PHP) and Node.js.


• Design and build scalable RESTful APIs and microservices.


• Develop serverless applications using AWS Lambda and the Serverless Framework.


• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using TypeScript.


• Integrate third‑party APIs and external services.


• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.


• Design and maintain relational and NoSQL databases.


• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.


• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality solutions.


• Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards and best practices.


• Support CI/CD pipelines and cloud‑based deployments.

Required Skillset

• 3–4 years of hands‑on experience in backend development.


• Strong proficiency in Laravel (PHP).


• Strong experience with Node.js.


• Hands‑on experience with TypeScript.


• Experience developing applications using AWS Lambda.


• Good understanding of the Serverless Framework and serverless architecture.


• Experience building RESTful APIs and backend services.


• Strong knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.


• Experience with Git and version control workflows.


• Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms such as JWT.


• Familiarity with AWS services such as API Gateway, S3, CloudWatch, and IAM is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.


• Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.


• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.


• Familiarity with cloud‑native application development.

Salary: Market Competitive

Timings / Days: Mon to Fri (11am to 8pm)
