Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using C# and .NET Core.
- Build high-performance, reliable backend systems capable of supporting concurrent users and real-time applications.
- Design and optimize database solutions using both SQL and MongoDB, ensuring performance and scalability.
- Implement caching strategies (e.g. Redis) to improve application performance and reduce database load.
- Develop and maintain cloud-native applications on AWS, leveraging containerized deployments where appropriate.
- Design and build microservices with a focus on maintainability, scalability, and resilience.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following software engineering best practices.
- Troubleshoot production issues, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement long-term improvements.
- Participate in code reviews and collaborate closely with Product, Frontend, QA, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on backend development experience with C# and .NET Core.
- Strong experience with ASP.NET Core Web API and Entity Framework Core.
- Experience working with both MySQL and MongoDB.
- Hands-on experience implementing caching technologies such as Redis.
- Experience building applications on AWS (e.g. EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, CloudWatch).
- Strong understanding of multithreading, asynchronous programming, and concurrency in .NET.
- Experience designing and building microservices and distributed systems.
- Good understanding of OOP principles, SOLID principles, and common design patterns.
- Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines is highly preferred.
- Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other message queues.
- Experience with Kubernetes.
- Experience building high-concurrency, low-latency backend systems.
- Experience in the gaming, entertainment, or real-time application domain.
