LinkX Recruitment is hiring on behalf of a Dubai-based IT company for a Backend Developer to design build and maintain scalable backend services You will develop robust efficient services using dotnet and a microservices architecture with a focus on modularity scalability and maintainability The role is fully onsite in Dubai and works closely with cross-functional teams to deliver backend solutions that align with product goals
What you will do
- Design and build RESTful APIs and microservices using dotnet with clean modular well-documented code
- Containerise applications with Docker for consistent efficient deployments across environments
- Integrate Kafka or RabbitMQ for reliable event-driven messaging between services
- Optimise data access using Dapper ADO NET or EF Core writing efficient readable queries
- Apply Clean Architecture principles to keep the codebase flexible and testable
- Manage and optimise both SQL and NoSQL databases for efficient storage and retrieval
- Implement Redis caching to boost performance for high-frequency data requests
- Handle both asynchronous and synchronous communication for optimal responsiveness and resource use
What we are looking for
- BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong command of dotnet, including ASP NET Core and Web API development.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and microservices architecture.
- Experience with a message broker, Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Data access with Dapper, ADO NET, or EF Core.
- SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MySQL.
- NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
- Experience setting up and managing Redis for caching and pub/sub.
- Proficiency in asynchronous and synchronous processing techniques.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
