Backend Developer
Summary
Develops scalable backend applications and microservices using Node.js and Python. Responsibilities include API design, automated testing with Jest/Pytest, and implementing security protocols in a hybrid work model.
We are looking for a Backend Developer to join our team and play a key role in the design, architecture, and development of functional and scalable applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop functional and scalable applications, participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from architecture design to functional implementation.
- Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product meets the highest quality standards.
- Create scalable and maintainable code.
- Design and develop robust APIs, including client-side and server-side architecture.
- Ensure technical solutions meet business and consumption requirements.
- Implement security configurations and data protection protocols.
- Draft clear and comprehensive technical documentation.
Requirements
- Location: Candidates must be based in Mexico City and work in a hybrid model.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven senior-level experience in a similar Backend Developer role.
- Strong hands-on development experience with Node.js and Python.
- Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and SOLID principles.
- Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Proficiency in testing frameworks such as Jest and Pytest.
- Expertise in GIT version control and SCRUM methodologies.
- Proven experience in Software Architecture, specifically with Microservices.
- Strong soft skills: Data analysis, Leadership, Decision-making, Communication, Planning, and Organization.
- Intermediate level of English.
