Backend Developer
Summary
Build and maintain Laravel backend services and APIs for a real-estate platform, using MySQL/PostgreSQL and Livewire components.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
- Solid understanding of PHP and Laravel framework fundamentals (routes, controllers, models, migrations, Eloquent ORM).
- Basic knowledge of Livewire and how it ties into Laravel.
- Familiarity with MySQL/PostgreSQL and database design principles.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and backend logic.
- Exposure to frontend technologies (Tailwind CSS, Alpine.js) is a plus.
- Knowledge of Git and basic CI/CD workflows.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Laravel.
- Integrate and support Livewire components for dynamic interfaces.
- Work with MySQL/PostgreSQL databases: schema design, queries, migrations, and optimizations.
- Implement authentication, authorization, and secure data handling.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure smooth integration between backend logic and Tailwind/Alpine.js UIs.
- Participate in code reviews, write clean and maintainable code, and follow best practices.
- Assist in debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Write basic unit and feature tests in Laravel to ensure code reliability.
- Work with Git for version control and collaborate via pull requests.
