As a Backend Developer - Specialist, you will leverage your technical skills to design, develop, and maintain backend systems that drive innovation within our Software and Product Innovation group. Within our Cloud Engineering, Data & Analytics network, you will be instrumental in delivering scalable and efficient solutions that meet client needs. As a Specialist, you will provide specialized advice, conduct in-depth analyses, and support specific projects with your technical know-how. You will adapt to a fast-paced environment, taking ownership of your work and consistently delivering quality results that contribute to the team's success.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance software engineering practices and drive value for our clients. Your contributions will be pivotal in supporting the Scaled Engineering Services initiative, where you will apply your skills to solve complex challenges and deliver impactful solutions. Responsibilities

- Developing and maintaining backend systems using programming languages such as Java, Python, and C#
- Implementing microservices architecture to enhance system scalability and performance
- Conducting code reviews to validate adherence to coding standards and best practices
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements
- Utilizing API management tools to integrate and manage software applications
- Applying continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices to streamline software development processes
- Debugging and troubleshooting issues to maintain system reliability and performance
- Designing and implementing software solutions using object-oriented design principles
- Supporting application lifecycle management to optimize software development and deployment
- Engaging in quality assurance testing to validate software functionality and performance

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 1 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Computer and Data Engineering, Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, Machine Learning, Management Information Systems, Software Engineering
- Demonstrating proficiency in Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD) and CI/CD
- Utilizing advanced skills in Java, Python, and C++ programming languages
- Excelling in API Management and Microservices architecture

- Supporting projects with expertise in Application Development and Lifecycle Management
