Backend Developer with Hadoop

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications usingJava, Spring Boot and Spring Framework.


• Design and developREST APIsfor large-scale applications.


• Work withHadoop ecosystem, including HDFS and related technologies.


• Build and support applications running ondistributed data platforms.


• Perform troubleshooting, performance tuning and production support.


• Work withLinux/Unix environments and Shell scripting.


• Collaborate with development and support teams to resolve technical issues.


• UseGit, Bitbucket and Jirafor source control and project tracking.


• Supportstorage platform migration and modernizationinitiatives where required.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience inJava backend development.


• Good experience withSpring Boot / Spring Framework.


• Strong experience inREST API development.


• Good knowledge ofHadoop ecosystem, HDFS and distributed data platforms.


• Experience working withlarge-scale applications and high-volume data environments.


• Hands-on experience withLinux and Shell scripting.


• Experience withGit, Bitbucket and Jira.


• Strong troubleshooting andperformance tuningskills.


• Experience inproduction support.


• Experience withstorage migration/modernization projectsis an advantage.
