About the role
We are hiring a Backend Engineer (AWS) to build and run enterprise-grade, cloud-native applications on AWS for a regulated-sector programme in Singapore. Key responsibilities
Develop RESTful APIs, microservices and backend integration services Work with relational and NoSQL databases and optimise queries Build event-driven integrations using message queues Develop and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS with Docker and Kubernetes Contribute to GitLab CI/CD pipelines within Agile delivery teams Debug and troubleshoot application issues What you will bring
2 to 4 years of backend software development experience Python, Node.js or Java RESTful APIs and microservices Relational and NoSQL databases Message queues and event-driven architecture Secure coding practices AWS cloud-native development Docker and Kubernetes GitLab, CI/CD and Agile practices Qualifications & certifications
Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, IT or related field Work arrangement
Location: Singapore, on-site at client premises Employment type: Contract / Permanent / Full Time Working days: Monday to Friday The successful candidate must be able to obtain the required government security clearance before starting Candidates with existing CAT security clearance will be preferred
