About the Role
Join a small engineering team building AI-native infrastructure for private market operations. You will own core backend systems that support reliable, secure, and traceable financial workflows across hosted and self-hosted deployments.
What You'll Do
Build and maintain backend infrastructure for permissions, auditability, traceability, and observability.
Manage deployment architectures for hosted and self-hosted environments using infrastructure-as-code tools.
Improve the reliability, performance, and security of production systems.
Partner with product teams to deliver features while maintaining high quality standards.
Use AI-native development practices to support rapid, high-quality releases.
What We're Looking For
One to six years of professional backend development experience.
Production experience building services with TypeScript and NestJS.
Production experience with PostgreSQL and Prisma.
Experience managing deployments with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.
Experience improving reliability, security, performance, observability, or auditability in production.
Practical experience with AI, machine learning, large language models, or AI-native systems.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: €70,000 to €110,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
Location
On-site in Berlin, Germany.
