Requirements
4–6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Senior Business Analyst or similar role.
Strong experience in requirement gathering, functional analysis and documentation.
Strong BRD, FRD, user story, acceptance criteria and process-mapping skills.
Ability to translate complex business processes into clear technology requirements.
Understanding of APIs, integrations, databases and basic software architecture.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience working with Product and Engineering teams throughout the SDLC.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence.
Travel industry experience across OTA, TMC, B2B travel, airline, hotel or transfer platforms is a strong plus.
Understanding of GDS, NDC, airline/hotel APIs, booking, ticketing and post-booking is a plus.
Exposure to Postman, JSON/XML, SQL or data analysis is a plus.
Responsibilities
Engage with stakeholders to understand business objectives, pain points and process gaps.
Gather, analyze and document functional and non-functional requirements.
Prepare BRDs, FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows and use cases.
Translate business requirements into clear requirements for Engineering and QA teams.
Work closely with Product Managers and Engineering throughout the SDLC.
Analyze existing workflows and identify product and process improvement opportunities.
Coordinate requirements across internal teams, technology partners and suppliers.
Support solution design, UAT planning, test scenarios and business validation.
Manage requirement traceability, scope changes, dependencies, risks and stakeholder expectations.
Support production issues through business impact analysis and coordinated resolution.
Drive clarity and alignment across business and technology stakeholders.
