Backend Engineer

We're looking for a Backend Engineer to join our core team and help build the foundation of Echo's AI-powered, CVE-free container security platform.

Responsibilities:

• Take responsibility for Echo's platform and infrastructure, building the core backend systems and services that power our revolutionary container security solution

• Take ownership of the backend architecture, tech stack, and development processes, driving technical decisions across our factory's core components

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software and implement best practices in backend development, API design, and system architecture

• Lead complex projects in close collaboration with Product Managers and other Software Engineers, from technical planning through execution and delivery

Requirements:

• 6+ years of backend development experience (Node.js preferred)

• Strong background in designing and implementing microservices-based architecture and distributed systems

• Extensive experience with cloud environments, particularly AWS

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, build automation, and deployment processes

• Hands-on experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and distributed messaging systems (e.g. Kafka, RabbitMQ)

• Proven ability to optimize performance and scalability in backend systems and services

• Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
