Backend Engineer - Engagement

You will contribute to customer engagement software across discovery, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. You will manage project priorities and deliverables, share knowledge, follow technology trends, and propose new findings during Get Stuff Done Days. You will write well-tested, well-documented code and consider security throughout your work.

Responsibilities

• Conduct discovery, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of software.
• Manage individual project priorities and deliverables.
• Stay up to date with technology trends.
• Propose new findings during Get Stuff Done Days.

Requirements

• Develop software using a JVM language and Spring Boot in large-scale production systems.
• Understand microservice architecture.
• Know relational and non-relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
• Understand modern cloud architecture, preferably AWS.
• Consider security in your work.
• Write well-tested and well-documented code.
• Give and receive open, direct, and timely feedback.
