Backend Engineer (Go) Homebased
Salary: ₱140,000 – ₱170,000 per month
About the role
We are seeking a talented and driven Backend/Full-stack Developer to join our growing team and continue to make the pace-setters in the leasing technology space. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and other engineers, to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs of the various teams and the business's customers. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is passionate about creating clean, efficient, scalable code and is excited to take on new challenges in an ever-growing landscape.
Key responsibilities
Deliver high-quality technical solutions based on business and stakeholder requirements
Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and external parties
Write clean, well-documented, maintainable, and testable code
Conduct code reviews and maintain coding standards
Ensure application security, data privacy, and compliance
Troubleshoot issues, optimize application performance, and maintain existing systems
Provide technical support and share knowledge across teams
Stay updated with emerging technologies and development practices
About you
Proven experience as a Backend or Full-stack Developer
Strong hands-on experience with Golang (Go)
Proficiency in MySQL databases
Experience working in an Agile development environment
Understanding of application security and secure coding practices
Experience using Git for version control
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with unit testing and integration testing
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools and development techniques
Schedule: Monday to Friday 6AM-3PM PH
Work Location: Homebased
