About The Role
Our backend is Go, running on our own cloud infrastructure. You'll work on the systems our products and developers build on — service design, request handling, databases and the APIs that tie everything together. Reliability and clarity matter more than cleverness here.
What you'll do
- Design and build Go services powering our products and developer API
- Own request handling, streaming responses and rate limiting
- Build and maintain APIs used internally and by external developers
- Improve observability, reliability and performance
- Write clear, well-tested code others can build on
What we\'re looking for
- 4+ years building backend services, with strong Go experience
- Solid grasp of APIs, databases and distributed systems basics
- Care for reliability, testing and clean interfaces
- Ability to reason about performance and failure modes
Nice to have
- Experience with streaming or queueing systems
- Worked with self-hosted or cloud infrastructure before
