Backend Engineer Intern
Summary
Build and maintain backend services in Go, design MongoDB schemas, and integrate APIs for a growing platform.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain server-side logic, APIs, and database models using Golang and MongoDB
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate APIs and improve platform performance
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and optimization tasks
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Assist in ensuring data integrity, security, and system scalability
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (required)
- Basic understanding of Golang (Go) and experience with RESTful API development
- Familiarity with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
- Knowledge of Git/GitHub for version control
- Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new technologies
- Good communication and teamwork skills
