Backend Engineer (Java, Golang, established Internet company with millions of users)
Role Summary
We are looking for a Backend Engineer to build and scale high-performance, distributed systems that support large-scale products. You will be responsible for designing robust backend services, optimizing system performance, and ensuring reliability across complex infrastructures.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java
- Build scalable, high-availability distributed systems
- Design APIs and microservices to support product features
- Optimize system performance, latency, and resource utilization
- Ensure system reliability, fault tolerance, and scalability
- Collaborate with frontend, product, and infrastructure teams
- Participate in system design, code reviews, and technical discussions
- Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve system stability
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science or related field
- Above 2 years of backend development experience
- Strong proficiency in Java (or solid experience in other backend languages with willingness to switch)
- Experience in building distributed systems and microservices architecture
- Familiarity with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, etc.)
- Understanding of networking, concurrency, and system design principles
- Experience with Linux environment and cloud platforms
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
