What You'll Do
- Architect scalable systems Design and implement high-performance backend infrastructure using Python, Go, Rust, and WebAssembly
- Build cloud-native solutions Leverage AWS services including Amplify, LightSail, and Fargate to create robust, secure, and scalable infrastructure
- Manage data architecture Work across diverse database technologies including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and vector databases
- Drive product impact Collaborate directly with the founding engineering team to ship high-impact features that delight users
- Shape the vision Contribute to product strategy and technical direction as an early team member with substantial influence
What We're Looking For
- Strong proficiency in backend development with Python, Go, or Rust
- Experience building and deploying systems on AWS infrastructure
- Solid understanding of both relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases
- Passion for writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment with evolving priorities
- Excellent problem-solving skills and technical communication
- Enthusiasm for tackling complex problems in the legal tech space
