What You'll Do:

This role sits on a team that owns both auth and ledger, so you'll occasionally pick up work across both areas.
- Develop and maintain Stratus, an EVM-compatible centralized ledger released as open source
- Build and operate the indexers that ingest and expose ledger state
- Support other teams integrating with the ledger
- Improve performance, reliability, and correctness of a system that holds production financial state
- Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Who You Are:

  • Has operated critical infrastructure on cloud providers like GCP or AWS, using tools such as Terraform
  • Has developed databases or data-intensive applications
  • Has developed parallel and distributed systems
  • Is proficient in Rust
  • Familiarity with the EVM, Solidity, or blockchain internals is a plus
  • Knowledge of the Brazilian payments ecosystem is a plus
  • Communicates clearly and effectively
  • Advanced English communication skills, primarily for internal communication with our diverse, multinational team
