Backend Engineer

You will design and deliver distributed systems that improve financial crime control efficiency. You will anticipate technical risks lead system design discussions mentor engineers collaborate across domains build data integrations work autonomously and improve engineering processes. You will also help teams use AI tooling effectively.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver complex distributed systems
• Anticipate technical risks and dependencies
• Guide the responsible use of AI tooling
• Lead technical discussions on system design and implementation
• Mentor other engineers
• Build data aggregation and integration solutions
• Drive projects with minimal support
• Evaluate and improve team processes

Requirements

• At least 3 years of backend experience
• Track record designing and delivering complex systems at scale
• Expertise in event-driven architecture and distributed systems
• Experience with cloud technologies
• Experience with Go is advantageous
• Interest in AI and familiarity with solutions such as OpenAI
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
