We are seeking a Backend Developer experienced in Node.js, NestJS, and TypeScript to build and maintain the core infrastructure powering PilotFinance. You will design scalable, secure, and compliant systems that support cross-border payments, treasury management, and settlement operations across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust backend services using Node.js, NestJS, and TypeScript
- Build APIs and microservices for cross-border payments, FX processing, and settlement
systems
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of backend systems
- Implement secure transaction processing and financial data handling
- Integrate with third-party financial institutions, payment gateways, and banking APIs
- Develop and manage multi-currency ledger systems
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations (KYC, AML, audit trails)
- Optimize database performance and manage large-scale transactional data
- Collaborate with frontend teams to deliver seamless end-to-end solutions
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in backend development
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and NestJS
- Solid experience with TypeScript
- Experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Strong knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL)
- Experience with asynchronous programming and message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ,
Kafka)
- Understanding of authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Strong understanding of system security and data protection
