Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Node.js.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs with internal and external systems.
- Develop and deploy containerised microservices using Docker and AWS ECS/EKS.
- Manage and optimise relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
- Ensure applications comply with IM8, SHIP-HATS 2.0, and secure software development practices.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle, from development to production support.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Min. 7 years of working experience developing backend applications using Node.js.
- Hands‑on experience with RESTful API development and system integration.
- Experience building and deploying Docker‑based microservices on AWS ECS/EKS.
- Experience working with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or other relational databases.
- Familiarity with AWS, CI/CD pipelines, and Git version control.
- Knowledge of IM8, SHIP-HATS 2.0, or experience delivering Singapore Government projects is an advantage.
- Strong problem‑solving, communication, and debugging skills.
