Backend Engineer (PHP/Golang)

You will develop and maintain scalable backend services that power innovative products used by game developers and players worldwide. You'll design and implement new services to support product features, proactively propose ideas for improving the product, and own your code in production by monitoring, debugging, and continuously improving service performance and reliability. You'll write automated tests, follow CI/CD best practices, and collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, designers, and QA to deliver end-to-end solutions. You'll also participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing across teams.

  • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing across teams

Requirements

  • Experience in programming and backend development of industrial web applications using PHP and/or Golang
  • Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures
  • Understanding of decomposition principles, OOP, and design patterns
  • Ability to write testable code, including unit and functional tests
  • Good command of SQL, database design, and OLTP/OLAP approaches
  • Ability to participate effectively in team-based development
  • English proficiency at B2 level
  • Experience in building high-load enterprise applications and event-driven systems (nice to have)
  • Knowledge of application architecture patterns and experience applying them (nice to have)
  • Experience working with continuous integration and deployment systems (Docker, Jenkins, GitLab, etc.) (nice to have)
  • Experience with frontend development using any framework, preferably React (nice to have)
