Backend Engineer

You will build backend services for partner integrations, including affiliate and referral link generation, click and conversion tracking, attribution, postbacks, webhooks, and reporting endpoints. You will take partnership requests from requirements through deployment, integrate links with web shops, create onboarding and payout tools, investigate tracking issues, and maintain documentation, tests, monitoring, and CI/CD workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build backend services for affiliate and referral link generation
• Track clicks conversions and attribution parameters
• Implement server to server postbacks webhooks and reporting endpoints
• Take partnership requirements through specification implementation testing and deployment
• Integrate affiliate links with web shops
• Build tools for partner onboarding link generation data extraction and payout reconciliation
• Investigate attribution and tracking discrepancies
• Add logging metrics and alerting
• Write API documentation and integration guides
• Participate in code reviews and maintain tests
• Collaborate with engineering integration management design and customer success teams
• Track work in Jira and maintain Confluence documentation

Requirements

• 1–4 years of professional backend development experience or a strong project portfolio
• Working proficiency in Go PHP Python Node.js TypeScript or Java
• Solid SQL and relational database fundamentals
• Understanding of HTTP REST API JSON webhooks and API authentication
• Comfort with Git and code review
• Ability to debug unfamiliar problems using logs and reproduction
• English proficiency for technical discussions and documentation
• Russian proficiency for day to day office work
• Based in or willing to relocate to Vladivostok for an onsite role
