Backend-Focused Full-Stack Developer

Salary: RM 4,500 – RM 6,700 per month

About the Role

The AI Projects Lab builds the enterprise platforms, AI agents, and automation systems that power CryoCord Group of companies.

We are hiring a backend-focused full-stack developer with strong capabilities in APIs, databases, system architecture, business logic, and integrations. You should be comfortable contributing across the stack, but your primary strength must be backend engineering.

We build real production systems, challenge conventional approaches, and embrace modern AI-assisted engineering environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, databases, and application architecture.

• Build integrations with ERP/CRM platforms, payment gateways, accounting systems, and external services.

• Develop scalable, secure, and maintainable applications with clean, structured code.

• Collaborate on frontend development when required to deliver complete applications.

• Integrate AI capabilities, automation, and intelligent workflows into enterprise systems.

• Take ownership of development, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Minimum 1+ years of professional software development experience, or exceptional demonstrated capability regardless of years of experience.

• Strong backend development skills using Python, Node.js, TypeScript, or similar technologies.

• Experience with REST APIs, PostgreSQL, MySQL, authentication, and system integrations.

• Familiarity with frontend frameworks such as React, Next.js, or Vue.

• Understanding of Git, debugging, deployment, and software engineering best practices.

• Experience with Azure, AI APIs, or automation frameworks is an advantage.

• Strong problem-solving skills, independent thinking, and good English communication.

Employment Structure

This position begins with a one-month paid trial contract to assess technical skills, problem-solving, ownership, and adaptability.

Successful candidates will be offered a 12-month contract, subject to satisfactory performance and agreement.
