Backend/Frontend Developer
Summary
TTMS is hiring a full-stack developer in Kuala Lumpur to build and maintain web applications, developing responsive front-ends in Angular/JavaScript and backend services in Java/Spring Boot. Day-to-day involves designing RESTful APIs, writing tests, working with databases, and supporting deployments in an agile team.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, technical leads, and fellow developers to design and implement robust software solutions.
- Participating in daily standup, sprint planning, retrospective meetings during project implementation phase.
- Develop responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces using Angular, ensuring optimal performance across various devices and browsers.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and back-end services using Java/SpringBoot to support front-end functionalities.
- Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure application quality and performance.
- Work with databases and data models to ensure efficient data storage, retrieval, and manipulation.
Requirements
- Proven experience (min 3+ years) as a Backend/Front End Developer with hands-on expertise in Angular, JavaScript and Java with Spring Boot.
- Familiarity with the Angular framework and design/architectural patterns (e.g. Microservices, Model-View-Controller (MVC) and Entity framework)
- Strong understanding of web development fundamentals, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Proficiency in designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Solid knowledge of database systems, SQL, and data modeling.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes,
- Experience deploying or integrating applications on AWS (EKS / EC2 / S3 / RDS)
- Exposure to testing frameworks like Jasmine, Karma (Angular), JUnit, Mockito (Java).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience using IDE tools like Visual Studio Code and Eclipse.
- Self-driven, collaborative, and passionate about clean, maintainable code.
Education and Certification:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Certification in AWS Certified: Developer Associate or equivalent is a plus.
