Backend / Full Stack Developer (Node.js + Shopify)
Summary
Builds and maintains backend systems, Shopify apps, and integrations for eCommerce brands using Node.js, TypeScript, and Shopify APIs.
We are looking for an experienced Backend / Full Stack Developer to join our team and build scalable backend systems, Shopify applications, business integrations, automations, and AI-powered solutions for leading eCommerce brands.
This is not a Shopify website development role. You'll work on complex backend architecture, APIs, integrations, internal tools, and business automation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and TypeScript
- Design and build REST and GraphQL APIs
- Develop Shopify Apps, Shopify Functions, and Checkout Extensions
- Build integrations with Shopify, ERP systems, payment providers, HubSpot, Monday.com, Meta, and other third-party platforms
- Create synchronization systems for orders, products, inventory, customers, and payments
- Develop background jobs, queues, ETL pipelines, and business automations
- Design scalable database structures and backend architecture
- Build AI-powered internal tools and client solutions
- Improve system performance, scalability, security, and reliability
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams
Requirements
- 3+ years of commercial backend development experience
- Strong experience with Node.js and TypeScript
- Hands-on experience developing Shopify Apps (mandatory)
- Experience with Shopify Admin API (GraphQL), Shopify Functions, and Checkout Extensions
- Strong experience building REST APIs and third-party integrations
- Experience with PostgreSQL and Redis
- Experience with Express.js or NestJS
- Knowledge of OAuth2, Webhooks, queues, and API rate limiting
- Experience with Docker, Git, and CI/CD
- Familiarity with AWS or GCP

- SaaS product development
- Experience with AI APIs (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini)
