Summary

Build and maintain a government cloud platform using React/TypeScript, Node.js/Python, and GitLab/Terraform to automate deployments for multiple agencies.

Our esteemed client in the IT industry is seeking a Backend / Full Stack Engineer to join their dynamic team:

  • Employment Type: 1-year renewable contract
  • Position: Backend/ Full Stack Engineer
  • Location: Northeast (Nearest MRT: Punggol Coast)
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 6pm
  • Salary Package: Basic + Bonus + Medical Benefits
Job Responsibilities
  • Participate in an in-house engineering squad for engineering excellence in design, development and operational of the Singapore Government Commercial Cloud Platform.
  • Practice and lead other development communities to develop and deploy on Government Commercial Cloud.
  • Opportunities to learn and implement large scale automation with cloud landing zone across multiple Cloud Service Providers in Government Context.
  • Responsible to develop and maintain the platform used by multiple government agencies.
  • Be the guiding subject matter of expert for Devops methodologies, contribute to Automation, Availability, Scalability and Resiliency to the team and the development communities within government.
  • This role focuses onFull Stack Development: Frontend - Develop the Self-Service Developer Portal usingReact.js/TypeScript; Backend:API and automation development inNodeJS/Python.
  • Maintain the CI/CD tool chain and secure deployment pipelines (GitLab, Terraform).
Job Requirements
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience in both backend (API) and frontend development.
  • Proficient in React.js (frontend) and Python/ NodeJS for API development.
  • Understand about cloud infrastructure deployment and automation.
  • Understand and willing to learn about Infrastructure as Code, Policies as Code and Git.
