Backend / Full Stack Software Engineer (all genders)

Join our growing tech hub in Málaga and become part of an international team building a modern, Kubernetes-based supply platform. As a Full Stack Software Engineer (all genders), you will contribute to developing a solution that automates and optimizes end-to-end purchasing and article onboarding workflows.

In this role, you will support internal buying teams by enabling data-driven, AI-assisted decision-making. Together, we aim to streamline deal preparation, improve assessment accuracy, and generate valuable insights through robust analytics and meaningful KPIs.


Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain backend services for our buying platform using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to deliver features in efficient release cycles.
  • Work with cross-functional teams across Tech, Buying, and Business Intelligence.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team culture through knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
  • Support architectural decisions and help ensure scalability, performance, and reliability.

Your Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience with Java and Spring Boot, with a solid understanding of modern backend development principles.
  • Familiarity with event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka) and distributed systems.
  • Experience with testing (unit/integration) and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).
  • Exposure to cloud platforms and container technologies such as Kubernetes.
  • Good knowledge of relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL.
  • Frontend experience with Vue.js is a plus.
  • Interest in data, analytics, or machine learning topics is a plus.
  • A hands-on, team-oriented mindset with attention to code quality and maintainability, paired with fluent English skills.
