Backend Infrastructure & Data Engineer
You will build and scale the backbone of the data platform. Design, develop, and maintain high-performance data pipelines, warehouses, reporting systems, ETL, and real-time streaming architectures. Own cloud infrastructure and production environments, solve data-quality and workflow challenges, and keep large-scale blockchain data systems reliable and optimized.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance data pipelines, warehouses, and reporting systems
- Build scalable ETL and real-time streaming architectures
- Own and evolve cloud infrastructure and production environments
- Contribute throughout the engineering lifecycle from planning through delivery
- Solve data quality, infrastructure, and workflow challenges
- Keep production systems healthy, reliable, and scalable
- Optimize systems to handle large volumes of blockchain data
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of software development experience with strong Python skills
- Experience building and maintaining cloud infrastructure
- Hands-on Kubernetes deployment, management, and troubleshooting experience
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi
- Strong SQL skills and experience with databases at scale
- Experience with CI/CD practices and deployment pipelines
- Familiarity with data pipelines, big data, and streaming technologies, such as Kafka, Kinesis, Spark, or Flink
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across application and infrastructure layers
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools, such as Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and Grafana
- Previous experience in a fast-paced startup environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
