Full-time backend engineering internship (remote, based in Bangalore, India) to design and maintain APIs and backend services for a web application. Core stack is Python with Django and FastAPI, plus databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure). Pays ₹1L–₹2L per year with no equity.

We are looking for a Backend Engineer Intern to join our team and work on developing and maintaining the backend of our web application. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of software development principles and experience with Python, Django, and FastAPI.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the development team to design and implement APIs and backend services
- Build scalable and efficient systems to handle large volumes of data
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team discussions
- Work with data scientists and frontend developers to integrate backend services with other components of the application
- Debug and troubleshoot issues in the backend
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of software development principles
- Experience with Python, Django, and FastAPI
- Knowledge of database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
- Familiarity with cloud technologies like AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other team members
- Self-starter with a strong desire to learn and grow
Education:
Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field. This is a full-time internship position and the duration of the internship is negotiable.
