Backend Intern

Compensation: ₹1L – ₹2L • No equity

We are looking for a Backend Engineer Intern to join our team and work on developing and maintaining the backend of our web application. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of software development principles and experience with Python, Django, and FastAPI.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the development team to design and implement APIs and backend services
• Build scalable and efficient systems to handle large volumes of data
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team discussions
• Work with data scientists and frontend developers to integrate backend services with other components of the application
• Debug and troubleshoot issues in the backend

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of software development principles
• Experience with Python, Django, and FastAPI
• Knowledge of database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
• Familiarity with cloud technologies like AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other team members
• Self-starter with a strong desire to learn and grow

Education:

Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field. This is a full-time internship position and the duration of the internship is negotiable.
